New Student Leaders Sworn In at Naalya Secondary School Lugazi Campus
Naalya Secondary school lugazi campus officially swore in its new student leaders for the 2026-2027 academic year today in a colorful ceremony held at the school's main hall. The event marked the culmination of the highly competitive 2026 student elections, which saw students exercise their democratic right to choose their representatives.
The swearing-in ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Mr. Hamba, who commended the students for conducting a peaceful and transparent electoral process. He encouraged the newly elected leaders to serve with integrity and prioritize the welfare of their fellow students.
In a solemn moment, all newly elected prefects took their Oath of Allegiance, pledging to protect and abide by the school rules and regulations as outlined in the school's "Blue Book." The oath signifies their commitment to upholding discipline, fostering unity, and promoting academic excellence throughout their tenure.
The new student leadership team comprises the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and various other portfolios including Academics, Discipline, Sports, Health, Ethics, and Entertainment, among others.
In their acceptance speeches, the new leaders expressed gratitude to their fellow students for the trust bestowed upon them and vowed to serve diligently. They emphasized their commitment to being approachable, transparent, and proactive in addressing student concerns while working closely with the school administration to maintain the high standards that Naalya Secondary School Lugazi Campus is known for.
