EID AL-ADHA CELEBTATIONS
Naalya Secondary Schools came alive with colour, faith, and togetherness yesterday as the Namugongo, Bweyogerere, and Lugazi campuses each hosted vibrant Eid al-Adha celebrations. Students, staff, and invited guests gathered to mark the Feast of Sacrifice in a spirit that blended religious devotion, cultural pride, and the school’s core value of community.

From the early morning congregational prayers to the sharing of festive meals, the day reflected the true essence of Eid: gratitude, compassion, and unity.

Namugongo Campus: A Morning of Prayer and Purpose
At the Namugongo campus, the day began with a serene open-air Eid prayer held on the main sports field. Hundreds of Muslim students, dressed in their finest, lined up shoulder to shoulder alongside teachers and members of the neighbouring community. The Imam’s sermon centred on the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and the importance of sacrificial giving in today’s world.

Lugazi Campus: Faith, Reflection, and Reaching Out
At the Lugazi campus, the tone was set with a reflective dawn prayer at the campus mosque. The school Administration attended the prayer and later addressed the gathering, emphasising that the values of Eid—discipline, empathy, and gratitude re universal and essential for all students.

A Shared Message of Unity

Across all three campuses, the 2026 Eid al-Adha celebrations proved once again that Naalya Secondary Schools are more than academic institutions—they are communities that nurture character, compassion, and respect for diversity. Christian and Muslim students, staff of different faiths, and families alike came together to celebrate, proving that joy multiplies when it is shared.

As the echoes of laughter and prayer fade, the lessons of sacrifice, generosity, and unity will continue to guide learners in the days ahead. The school administration extends heartfelt Eid greetings to the entire Naalya community: Eid Mubarak, and may the spirit of the season stay with us all.
